Reach Cambridge Global Leaders: Day 7

The Global Leaders program has flown by, and sadly its already the final day! To make the most of the time left, we had a full itinerary after classes ended which encouraged all the students to spend as much time with their supervisors and new-found friends as possible. First up was ‘Corridor Lunch’ – the students from each corridor had a celebratory meal with their Corridor Supervisor, with groups choosing to dine in a variety of establishments from Nandos to Bills. These groups stuck together for fun activities after they had eaten; amongst them, some made friendship bracelets, some played basketball, others played card games and board games. For dinner, all the students came together for a pizza party, which was also the perfect opportunity to present them with certificates to recognise all their hard work and achievements during this intense but rewarding week. To continue the festive mood, everyone headed to a bowling alley for a couple of games, with some of the students showing the supervisors how it was done on the Dance Machines. We will be very sad to say goodbye to a handful of students tomorrow, but for everyone staying it’s another busy weekend – tomorrow is an excursion to the historic city of Norwich, and on Sunday the students are visiting the quintessential British seaside spot of Brighton. Very excitingly, we are also joined by school groups Indonesia, Singapore, India and China – we can’t wait to meet them! Written by Flossie, Director of Operations
