Lots of exciting things have been happening in England recently – the Royal Wedding, the Olympics, the Jubilee! And this means that some really exciting things have been happening in Cambridge – Prince William and Kate became the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and during the Reach July course, the Olympic Torch came to Cambridge. More than 50, 000 people lined the route, and saw the flame pass through some of the special places of Cambridge, such as the Great Court of Trinity College. The torch was also carried by punt on the River Cam, one of the classic tourist attractions, and something all Reach students do when they are here. Just another reason why Cambridge is such a great place!
