Residential study programs for 14-18 year olds in Cambridge, UK.
Reach Cambridge International Visits!
Reach Cambridge is a truly international summer school, with students from over 45 different countries joining us last year. However the international aspect of Reach is not just restricted to the summer, as throughout the year we travel around the globe visiting schools in Europe, the Middle East, the USA, East Asia… the list goes on!
These trips enable us to meet students face to face, and discuss Reach with school groups, teachers, and individual students. While the magic of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram help us to connect with students around the world, our tips enable us to discuss Cambridge, academics, and excursions with students one-on-one This gives them an in-depth look into what a summer in Cambridge will hold.
Our visits also enable Reach staff to gain an insight into the variety of cultures, languages, and landscapes that weave together to create the international backdrop of a Reach Cambridge summer.
During the summer programs we celebrate the contrasting and unique cultural aspects of different countries through our Reach Cambridge World Fair. This is a chance for students to create a display with their country’s flag, and tell each other something about where they come from. Students can display traditional dress, music instruments, or even local slang. They can also try different cultures’ food such as Canadian maple syrup, British scones, and Lebanese falafel.
On our next trip we will be visiting Istnabul, Amman, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Shanghai! If you would like us to visit your school talk about Reach (wherever you are around the world), do get in touch. You can send us an email at info@reachcambridge.com, or contact us on Facebook or Twitter.
We look forward to hearing from you! ☺
