Another day of fun activities awaited our students this Saturday! After a lie-in, everyone felt refreshed and raring to go for our sports day events at the University of Cambridge Sports Grounds. Entertaining, dress-up relay races with glittery tutus and ping pong balls gave students a chance to gain more points for their Fire and Ice teams! In the lovely shaded pavilion, students were also given the chance to do arts & crafts which have been gaining more and more popularity every day.
Following that we also had many sports and games for students to join in if they wished including: the egg and spoon race, American football, soccer, cricket and rounders – a very popular sporting game in the UK. After a high-energy afternoon, students enjoyed a great buffet of delicious food at our BBQ! With lots of burgers, sausages, side dishes and veggies, everyone was seen enjoying their meals and having great fun in the afternoon sun.
Tomorrow we are excited to take our students to the busy capital of the UK – London! Keep up to date with our blog and Instagram @reachcambridge to see what adventures we get up to on our second excursion of the week!
