After months of preparation and excitement, we’re delighted to welcome our Spring 2019 students to Cambridge. Our students have travelled from as far away as New Zealand and Brazil, to as close by as London and Poland to join us for the next few weeks.
Although there was some drizzle in the air today, it did not dampen our spirits! Students have had a busy first day settling into Reach Hall, a beautiful Victorian Hall on the river in Cambridge.
We spent the afternoon on a walking tour into the Cambridge city centre via the picturesque Jesus Green. We then had a welcome talk and introduction to the program by some of our brilliant year-round senior team – Luke, Sam and Genny. Genny is our Director of Curriculum and had great joy telling the students all about the specific topics they will study in their amazing academic subject classes this week. We then had dinner in a local ‘gastro-pub’ on the river, before playing some team games before curfew. We’re already excited about our first day of subject classes tomorrow, followed by an academic tour in Cambridge, punting along the River Cam and an evening lecture on Preparing for the Future and University life. We can’t wait to tell you all about it :)
